Race to Reason was inspired by “brain paintings,” which explored the relationship between the brain and the body, and the struggle between them. The lines and shapes used by the artist represent brain synapses and neural firings. Phillip March Jones is founder and creative director of Institute 193, an experimental, nonprofit gallery. A curatorial consultant for a gallery in Paris, France, March has been a guest curator for several exhibitions in New York. His own art work has been exhibited in New York, England and Kentucky.
