 |
Lost in the Fog pays homage to the
2005 winner of the Eclipse Award for Outstanding Sprint Horse. This American
thoroughbred, named the day he was literally lost in the fog, grew to be a
champion. He ran his last three races while consumed with cancer and was euthanized
in September 2006. Native Kentuckian Lee Sturtevant has had a passion for
horses all her life, so it was only natural that equine scenes became her
subject matter. She studied at the University of Louisville, Watkins Institute
and Tennessee State University.
