Horse Play Bidding Information

Minimum Bids
Bids will begin at $500 with $100 increments on bids. Artwork not bringing a bid greater than $500 will be retained by LexArts.

Purchase/Settlement of Account
The highest bidder will be presented with an Acknowledgement of Purchase and Security Agreement upon purchase to sign.

Purchasers shall make settlement by the close of evening for full purchase price.

Settlement is to be in the form of US currency, traveler’s check, cashier's check, American Express, MasterCard or Visa.

Personal checks will ONLY be accepted from individuals who have presented a Buyer Registration form to LexArts at ArtsPlace, 161 North Mill Street, Lexington, KY 40507
Fax to 859.255.2787 in advance of the auction.

Authorized Agents
Interested buyers who are unable to attend the auction may bid by proxy. Persons acting as agents for principals must file notarized letters of authorization from the principal stating the agent is acting on their behalf and that said principal will be responsive for agent purchases. These letters must be on file by Thursday, March 3 at 5 pm EST with LexArts 161 North Mill Street, Lexington, KY 40507 Fax 859.255.2787 or Tblanich@lexarts.org.

Proxy Bids
Sealed proxy bids will be accepted prior to the night of the auction, and must be received by LexArts by Thursday, March 3 at 5 pm EST. Please send any proxy bids along with the buyer registration forms to LexArts, 161 North Mill Street, Lexington, KY 40507 Fax 859.255.2787 or Tblanich@lexarts.org.
